In conjunction with the SJBA Youth Section’s 20th Anniversary this 2012, YS is all geared up to reach out and give back to the community through our recent project: “Shop for A Cause”. With the kickstart of this project, we intend to support and help alleviate the burden of the underprivileged orang asli children in Selangor.

As an overview, we intend to provide basic necessities to the orang asli community in March 2012. This project aspires to be the voice of the unheard cries of the poor, needy and marginalised children living in Selangor. We believe that every child, regardless of origin, race and religion, has the right to a meal and an education.

This project is run by youths with the passion for community service and also the love and compassion for the wellbeing youths of tomorrow. Together with Living Hope, we identify needs and implore potential donors to channel their contributions to the needy. An estimated 200 underprivileged children and their families would benefit tremendously from your generosity.

Items required are:
• Rice – 60 packs of 5 kg
• Instant Noodles – 60 boxes
• Cooking Oil – 60 packs of 2kg
• Milo Pack – 60 packs of 2 kg
• Sugar – 60 packs of 2 kg
• Children School Supplies – 100 sets (includes school bag & stationeries)
• Toiletries – 100 sets (Includes tooth brush, tooth paste & soap bars)
